Elite Prep Hoops

December 18, 2012 - Seth Staskey
If you're a prep basketball fan, you will want to be at Wheeling Jesuit University's McDonough Center on Jan. 4 and 5. There will be no better way to celebrate the first weekend of the new year than spending two solid days watching some of the best prep basketball players in the country. The sixth annual Cancer Research Classic will feature a total of eight games, including several of the teams ranked in the ESPN national poll.

With the top teams, come the top individual players. Guys such as Andrew Wiggins (Huntington Prep) and Jabari Parker (Simeon) are the main attractions for the event. Wiggins and his squad will be in action Friday, while Parker and company will play on Saturday.

This is a basketball junkie's paradise and you need to make it a point to be there.
