BETHESDA — Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Shepherd celebrated 50 years of marriage on Monday, Aug. 2. They were united in marriage on Aug. 2, 1960 in Bethesda. Shepherd is the son of the late Vernon and Helen Shepherd. His wife, Gloria, is the daughter of the late Eugene and Ruth Jones. They are the parents of three daughters: Susan (Lenny) Hannahs of Barnesville, Sherri (Ron) Lucas and Dawn (Scott) Otto, all of Bethesda; eight grandchildren: Trey, Shane and Cody Hannahs, Tiffany and Anthony Lucas and Devin, Shayla and Cortney Otto. A family gathering was held in their honor.
