BACK IN 1955-56, Mrs. Daisy Gocsik was a first-year teacher for this third grade class at North School in Martins Ferry. One of her students was so inspired by Mrs. Gocsik, that she went on to become a third grade teacher herself, and is still teaching in the Martins Ferry School District.
