Vichich was more than just a coach

Seth, I enjoyed your tribute to Coach Vichich. He was a great coach and person. He coached me as a JV basketball player and I served as a track manager under him. In addition to basketball, I also played football with Tommy, his son, for 4 years. As a result of my friendship with Tommy, I got to know Coach Vichich outside of our coach to player relationship. He is one of the best mentors I can imagine and a wonderful family man. I shed a few tears for him this week, but more importantly I remembered him fondly and thankfully.
