How has safety been compromised? Crime might up a little but that's because of a decrease in funding but rather and increase in unemployment leading to an increase of drug use. Who cares about street lights? You want light in front of your house, then turn your porch light on and pay for it yourself. The facts are that the more money governments get, the less services citizens are provided. I say cut funding more!
