Thoughtful
The park is a very positive asset to the community. The easy and quick solution to raising funds for the park is always tax the residents. Creative options are available and in this day and age should be the preferred direction to solve the issue. Look to collecting more user funds, solicit businesses, service organization, and hold activities that attract groups and collect nominal fees. The park is wonderful but taxing is not always the best solution for funding. Go outside of the box and make it happen. !!!!!!!!!!

Maybe, some of the local businesses should donate. A few years ago, Huntington Bank, Allstate,National City ALL had their noses stuck in there, thinking they were the salvation. WHERE ARE THEY NOW ?

UNCOMMONSENSE
Like ANY business, the park must MAKE a profit to stay open
It's rediculous to extract yet MORE money from taxpayers who are ALREADY being OVER taxed to pay even MORE for something they never use
Fundraisers and donations are the ONLY viable solution as well as installing something that MAKES enough money to cover operating costs
How about a sponsor wall or sponsored park benches etc
Grants and taxes are NEVER the answer because WHEN the grant runs out the taxpayers ALWAYS get stuck with the bill!!
