Watching 102 minutes that changed America was a stark reminder of the chaos surrounding that day. Social media didn't exist and the internet was still in its infancy. That day was ugly for a host of reasons. People attacked US citizens of middle-eastern descent, desperate people flung themselves from impossible heights after listening to Port Authority Police telling them to stay put. Fearless firemen continued to scale the buildings while everyone else was going down. The attack affected everyone in a fundamental way that so few events will in a given lifetime. Reducing its impact to political finger-pointing adds nothing, helps no one, and only serves to diminish the courage and bravery of everyone who had to make life or death decisions every second of that fateful day. Be an American when you speak of it, not a liberal or conservative American.

If Bush would have listened to the warnings that terrorists were planning an attack on use using airplanes, maybe it wouldn't have happened. Instead of heeding the warnings he was reading My Pet Goat to pre-schoolers. The terrorists actually won they scared the USA into going to war over cookedup WMD lies.

Interesting comment since Republicans such as McCain, Cruz, Ryan and Graham, have been wanting to get us involved up until Obama decided to. McCain wants to invade Syria and nation build like we did in Iraq. HOW DID IRAQ WORK OUT FOR US hmmmmm.
