Unions

November 5, 2013

Dear Editor,    In most mainstream media outlets, newspapers or otherwise, writers will almost always use one of two terms when speaking about the leadership of labor unions: "labor boss" or "union......

Quiz wrote this nonsense for the sole purpose of taking a swipe at President Obama. His last comment has nothing to do with unions and everything with his personal hated of The President. He speaks out of both sides of his mouth in the same paragraph.

So you want to "move on" to another article, editorial, letter to the editor etc that all of you can continue the road runner / coyote back and forth calling each other names etc. oluhjnb has run out of arguments and starts name calling and he totally missed the point - when you use statements based on facts that cannot be refuted, the Liberal left tries to shout you down, or starts the name calling. I agree with Thoughtful. It is time to bring out Professor Kingsfield's "cloak of ignorance" and cover those that contribute nothing to the discussion and just shun them. The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way, But the folly of fools is deceit. Proverbs 14:8

Are you listening Mr. President, "If you like your plan, you can keep your plan."

For all of us who wonder what the always jobless obamites do with their time, now we know----they actually sit around and COUNT meaningless things like posts and replies in small town rust belt newspapers that most people never heard of!! The term "get a life" just doesnt suffice!....LOL....no point in trying to make a fool out of oluh....he takes care of that all by himself...does a fine job of it too.

Quiz believes that political issues are decided on "truth". Turley uses stats from the 1930's. Quiz made 19 posts 51 AGREED and 71 DISAGREED. My "Logic" is "Faulty" because I use math. The two loons have spoken.

It doesnt bother me, Quiz.....after all, Hitler dissolved a democracy and his own citizens voted to place all power in him by a margin of 92% to only 8% in 1933.....sometimes it feels good to be in the minority, Quiz....and here in the US its only a 47% minority....not nearly as bad as the 8% in Germany....but I do know how that 8% must have felt now as we see our own nation crumble....Quiz, just ignore that nut sack....he is as insignificant as it gets!

oluhjnb uses faulty logic to "prove" who is right and who is wrong by comparing the agrees and disagrees. Just because someone agrees or disagrees with a statement doesn't make it the truth. "If you like your plan, you can keep your plan." How many dolts agreed with that Bozo?

Turley always has to LIE when wrong. Out of 82 posts turley made 24 of them. He received 45 AGREES and 99 DISAGREES. I posted 13 times. I received 38 AGREES and 31 DISAGREES. Turley was opposed at a rate of more than 2 to 1. Which makes him what he is: A LIAR.

Ben and the gang singing praises to the Democrat "friend of the working man".....but lets look closer at them, Ben!....LBJ moves Social Security to the "general fund" to find $$$ for his jungle war, where he kills 58,000 sons of the working class (the rich kids got deferments!)......Jimmy Carter opens Social Security to illegals and non-workers, as he turns a blind eye to the start of illegal "dumping" by foreign nations that subsidize their basic industries.....Bill Clinton signs NAFTA, and countless thousands of good paying American jobs go to Mexico and Canada.....then Obama shoves the EPA out to close anything with a smokestack, and takes healthcare and anything else he can find under the heading of "Government Control" and tells the whining unions to get lost!!!....yessir....they all sound like "friends of the worker", dont they Ben???

The drumbeat of income inequality is driven by those that use subtle envy in their arguments. "That CEO has so much more than the poor front line workers." So!? If a board of directors decides to hire a CEO at big bucks SO WHAT!! He works for his pay just like the front line workers. Not all labor has the same monetary value, but all labor can have dignity and that is up to the individual.

It seems that Ben Lofton is too intelligent to work at a menial task job. Even a moron like turley could be a coal miner and promo61 could be his helper. It's a job that requires no brains, I quess that's why Republicans love it so much.

Still dont know why Ben, who says he is age 38, is a "former" coal miner. Mining jobs are among the best paying in our area, so how is it he is a "former" coal miner before age 40???...the answer is his business, but I'm betting it has a lot to do with his pro-union 50's rhetoric.

Promo----to answer your question, approximately 9%.....not much higher in the public sector...everyday, more people wise up to the scam, and the numbers keep shrinking.
