THE Belmont County Health Department will administer flu shots in various places throughout the county. According to Linda Mehl of the department, it is time for the flu shot which is recommended for pregnant women, adults over age 50 or those with chronic health conditions and children six months of age to18 years old.
Cost of the shot is $22 and is covered by Medicare Part B, Health Plan, Advantra and Medicaid. The card must be presented at the time of service.
Flu shots will be adminisered on the following dates, times and locations:
