Lions to present annual cantata

THE ADENA Lions Club will once again be presenting a Christmas Cantata to benefit some of the organization's many project.

Director Dustin Kinsey said members of the community choir, youth choir and bell choir have been preparing for several presentations of the cantata, "Mary Did You Know?"

Performance dates and times are Sunday, Dec. 14, 2 p.m. at St. Casimir's in Adena, and 7 p.m. at the Friends Church in Mt. Pleasant; and on Friday, Dec. 19, 7 p.m., at Mother Cabrini's in Colerain.

Donations will be taken at the door and will benefit "Campaign SightFirst II," a Lion's program that is continuing to eliminate River Blindness throughout Latin America, South America and Africa. The program also provides funds for cataract surgeries and other vision loss treatments in the United States and abroad.
