THE BARNESVILLE Area Education Foundation announces that it has distributed $54,714.90 to colleges and universities in scholarship awards for the second semester expenses.
There are 12 winners of the Michael and Jane Zunick award, which grants $4,000 per year, per student. The students are attending the following schools: Jessica Vavre, Akron University; Dana Mroczowski, St. Francis University; Matt Loveday, Kent State University; Ryan Schultz, Oberlin College; Kelsie Bahmer, Ohio Wesleyan University; Joseph DePalma, Eric Kemp, Daniel Ziemba, Emily Rockwell, Jonathan Bosold, Leah Bettinger and Stephen Pytlik all attend The Ohio State University.
Todd Tucker is attending Ohio Northern University and is the recipient of the Hootman Scholarship.
Abby Huff is attending Harverford University, and Emily Castle is attending Oberlin College. Both are recipients of the Scholarship for Academic Excellence.
All of these scholarships are made available through the Barnesville Area Education Foundation through on-going endowments, and are presented each year.
