STUDENTS from the automotive technology program at the Belmont Career Center recently completed an engine restoration project for the Smith Township Volunteer Fire Dept. The vehicle is a 1974 Ford pick-up truck which was in need of numerous basic repairs. Students resealed the transmission, engine, transfer case and the front differential. They also performed a complete tune-up and repair of the carburetor. Shown left to right are Mike Chambers, instructor, and students Brandon Hoffman and Nik Sells, both from Barnesville, who completed the project in lab.
