WITH AN unidentified individual at left are Hayden Buckley, who served as football coach at Martins Ferry High School, and John Vrotsos, who initiated the sport of wrestling at that high school. As wrestling coach from 1957-68, Vrotsos guided his teams to seven consecutive OVAC Tournament championships and six consecutive Ohio District Tournament titles. His teams were ranked in the top 10 in the state four times. In addition to being in the OVAC Hall of Fame, he is in the Martins Ferry High School Wrestling Hall of Fame.
