Colerain Senior Center outlines activities

COLERAIN — The Colerain Senior Center has an extensive list of activities available in the coming month.
Bingo is held on Monday and Friday each week, while bridge is offered on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month.
The business meeting for the center takes place on the first Tuesday.
Walk 4 Life is every Tuesday. Wednesday’s is the highly popular euchre tournament and volleyball.
Health assessments are offered on the third Wednesday of the month.
Thursdays is wood carving and a car wash.
On the second Friday a birthday party is held for all members who are having a birthday in that particular month.
On Monday, all of the fathers will be honored with special readings and the making of sundaes.
All activities at the center begin at 10 a.m. with card games of the members’ choosing offered in the afternoon.
A healthy meal is served at 11:30 a.m. daily and is provided by Belmont County Senior Services. To reserve a meal, call the day prior by 10 a.m. to (740) 633-6823.
New members and new ideas are welcome. Come join the fun and make new friends.
The staff at Colerain Senior Center would like to thank the directors, kitchen crew and all the seniors that made the fiesta a great success.
Approximately 150 people were in attendance.
Martins Ferry
Senior Center
The Martins Ferry Senior Center is holding a 50-50 raffle. Drawing will take place on July 1. Tickets are $1 each or seven for $5. They are available from  the seniors or at the center, located at 14 N. Fifth St., Martins Ferry. Seniors will also be at the Ohio Valley Mall on Friday, June 18, selling the tickets.
Everyone 60 years of age and over is welcome to come to the center and participate in the activities. On Tuesdays, chair volleyball is played and bunco is played on Wednesdays. On June 16, seniors will go to the Wheeling Senior Center to play bingo.  Thursdays is games of choice day and on Friday’s chair volleyball and bunco is played.
On Monday,  June 28, seniors will travel to the St. Clairville Center to play volleyball.
On July 9, seniors will hold a trash and treasure sale at the center. Everyone is welcome to come and purchase many useful items.
At 11:30 a.m.each day, a nutritious meal is served. However, y ou  must call one day ahead of time, preferably before 10:30 a.m. to reserve one.
