DON AND Alice Hynes will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on June 24. They were united in marriage at the Thoburn United Methodist Church in St. Clairsville, June 24, 1950.
Hynes is the son of the late William and Freda Hynes of St. Clairsville and is a retired from Picoma Industries, Martins Ferry, as a plant superintendent. His wife, Alice, is the daughter of the late Frank and Blanche Kovack of Bridgeport.
They are the parents of three children: Don (Karen) Hynes, Darla (Jim) Tennant, and Debbie (Kenny) Neavin, all of St. Clairsville; eight grandchildren: DJ, Shayla, and Dustin Hynes; Scott, Casey and Emily Tennant and Jamie and Lindsey Neavin.
