The five Rotary Clubs in Belmont County, Ohio have chosen their Presidents for 2010-2011. These five individuals will lead their respective clubs in completing the mission of Rotary International which is to provide service to others, to promote high ethical standards, and to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through its fellowship of business, professional and community leaders.
Rotary International is the world's first service club organization with more than 1.2 million members. There are over 33,000 clubs in more than 200 countries where they are nonpolitical and open to all cultures, races and creeds.
Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace and eradicate disease under the motto, "Service Above Self."
