MARISA ANN Del Vecchio and Gerald Alan Dopkiss II were united in marriage at 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 25, at the Bellaire Presbyterian Church with Pastor Pete Walburn officiating the ceremony. The bride was escorted by her uncle, Walt Muklewicz.
The bride is the daughter of Elizabeth Blake of St. Clairsville and the late Ronald Del Vecchio. The groom is the son of Gerald and Kelly Dopkiss of Maynard.
Angela Goodson, served as matron of honor, and Dana Cook served as maid of honor. Steven Klan served as the best man. Other attendants were: Melissa Gossett, Stacy Sikole, Brittany Wolfe, Katie Smith, Holly Alkire and Maranda Parker, Zachary Dopkiss, Ryan Cox, Jon Perkins, R.C. Dela Cruz, Brian Chance, Andrew Goltez, Mathew Vicker, Jason Crosby and Laney Simone.
Emily Long served as flower girl and Daniel Goodson served as the ring bearer.
A reception was held at Generations.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of St. Clairsville High School and a 2010 graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University with a bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology. She is pursuing a master of business administration degree with a specialization in Healthcare at this time.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of St. Clairsville High School. He is serving his sixth year in the United States Army as a sergeant in the 101st Airborne Division and is stationed at Fort Campbell, Ky.
After a honeymoon trip to Antigua, the couple will reside in Clarksville, Tennessee.
