Army Reserve Staff Sgt. Chad A. Clark is returning to the U.S. after a deployment to Iraq or Afghanistan in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom or Enduring Freedom, respectively.
The soldiers return to Joint Base Dix-McGuire-Lakehurst, N.J., for debriefing, evaluations and out-processing procedures before returning to their regularly assigned Army Reserve or National Guard units.
Clark, a civil affairs specialist, is a member of Alpha Company, 412th Civil Affairs Battalion, based in Whitehall, Ohio. He has served in the military for eight years.
He is the son of Allen A. and Tiah P. Clark of Sampson Road, Cambridge, Ohio.
His wife, April, is the daughter of Jeffrey and Kathy Payne of Norwich, Ohio.
Clark graduated in 2000 from John Glenn High School, and received an associates degree in 2002 from Ohio State Agricultural Technical Institute, Wooster, and earned a bachelor's degree in 2008 from Ohio State University, Columbus.
