Favorite Athlete and why? Dana Torres because she is over 40 years old and still beats people 20 years younger than her in the water. The amount of strength and dedication it would take to still be as dominate as she is, is amazing.
What's your cell phone ring tone, and why? The original one, I keep it on vibrate most of the time
Favorite memory in your sport, and why? There are alot of great memories, but probobly my favorite was when I was 10 years old swimming at the 2007 YMCA zone meet. I swam 6 events and took first in all of them to recieve 6 gold medals.
Favorite hobby or off-day activity? Hanging out with friends
What sport do you admire that you don't play, and why? Lacrosse, people are getting beat by sticks while running up and down a field, whats not to love ?
Who is your most influential person(s), and why? My parents and my coaches: Rick, Ed, and Bru. They all have coached me and taught me to be everything that I am today.
What do you like about your sport? After a long, hard season being able to look back at all of the great accomplishments and good memories.
Who would you like to spend a day with, and why? Bo Burnham because I would not be able to stop laughing.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Working for my father and hopefully taking over the family business along with my older brother Eric.
CREDENTIALS: Michael became the first male from St. Clairsville to qualify for the state swimming championships. He qualified by virtue of a third-place finish in last week's breaststroke at the district meet in Columbus.
