Powhatan Point - Fred and Mary Kocher celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary February 27, 2011. They were united in marriage in Winchester, Va. on Feb. 27, 1961 by Rev. Duckwald.
Kocher is retired from Ohio Ferro Alloys and Centre Foundry. His wife, Mary, is retired from Super 8 Motel.
They are the parents of two children, Kelley (Ron) Graham; and Kim (Bob) Sisson all of Powhatan Point; two grandchildren, Devan(Carissa) Weekley and Morgan Graham.
