A UNITED States flag was donated to Heartland Nursing Home earlier this week by a resident of the facility. Leona Lendon, seated, gave the flag to the nursing home. It was her late husband — Wilbur Hudson Lendon’s. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he received it after his death. He was a chef and a member of the signal corps.
