WHEELING Top Notch Landscaping and Supply LLC has opened a new supply yard this spring. Owner Chris Duplaga advertises the yard as a one-stop for landscaping needs at wholesale prices.

"We're putting a supply yard in that Wheeling has never seen before," Duplaga said, adding that the six acres of land formerly used as a foundry boasts 6,000 square feet of warehouse. "This is the largest landscaping and supply yard in the valley."

He added that he has seen considerable response from property owners engaging in do-it-yourself projects, as well as contractors undertaking bigger jobs.

TOP NOTCH Landscaping and Supply LLC opened a new supply yard on six-acres of land in Wheeling. Owner Chris Duplaga said the business offers a one-stop site for landscaping needs at wholesale prices.

"We're trying to hit a lot of do-it-yourselfers," said Duplaga. "It's a place where the public can come in and buy at a wholesale price. A lot of folks know what they want. This is something they've been waiting for."

Top Notch Landscaping has been in business since 1991. Duplaga opened his supply yard April 1. He said his experience serving the area alerted him of the need for a convenient location to purchase landscaping products.

"We thought it would be to everybody's benefit," he said. "People are looking for the wholesale prices. The prices are unbelievable. We'll beat any competitor's offer."

He noted that due to the economy he has seen an increase in people interested in doing their own landscaping work and welcome a convenient location for their supply needs.

"This is something they've been waiting for," he said, adding that the wholesale pricing is also an attraction. "The prices are unbelievable. We'll beat any competitor's price on anything."

He added that they have stocked up on mulch and fertilizer for upcoming spring planting.

"We have the largest selection in the valley on bulk mulch," he said, adding that they carry red, black and brown mulch.

The yard also carries nursery stock, aggregate, concrete retaining wall products. His employees will also help plant nursery stock.

Duplaga added that he offers advice for people interested in doing their own landscaping, as well as planting and driveway layout services. In addition, Duplaga added that his business promises same day delivery. He has two trucks for immediate shipping of product.

"We're ready to go," he said.
