ST. CLAIRSVILLE - For many men and women in the business world, there comes a juncture when they just know it's time to strike out on their own.

For James Strama, that time came following more than a decade in the insurance business.

Strama worked for Allstate Insurance for 10 years, representing his clients and working to get them the best deals possible.

STRAMA INSURANCE is open for business at agent and owner James Strama’s office here at 104 S. Sugar St. in St. Clairsville.

He enjoyed his work and the people, but something wasn't right. So Strama recently decided to move into his own office and since March, he's been operating Strama Insurance out of his 104 S. Sugar St. address in St. Clairsville.

''I had been with all-state for 13 years,'' he said. ''It was just time to move on and start up my own business.''

The best part now is the flexibility being an independent insurance broker affords.

Before, Strama had to crunch numbers within the Allstate family to find the best rates.

The options now are more plentiful.

''Being independent, I represent more than 100 companies, and I am able to shop for the best price for my clients,'' Strama said. ''It's great. It has made things a lot easier.

''I can find you the cheapest rates and the best coverage with A-rated companies.''

Strama offers the full gamut of insurance coverages; everything from auto and life insurance, to business, health and homeowners policies.

He's even able to assist some of the more hard-to-insure customers. Have a driving under the influence charge? Perhaps you've collected your fair share of speeding tickets or been involved in a few fender benders.

Fear not. Strama will be able to find you coverage.

For more information or to contact Strama about pricing on various policies, call (740) 296-5641.
