Laurel Lindsay Poe and Ariel Alberto Rosa were united in marriage July 2 at 4:30 p.m. in a double-ring ceremony at the Shadyside Presbyterian Church, Shadyside, with Pastor Samuel Gibbs officiating. The bride was escorted by her father.
Parents of the bride are John and Jann Poe of Shadyside. Parents of the groom are the late Adan, Jr. and Alicia Rosa of Rio Grande City, Texas.
Bridesmaids included Jane Anne Tennyson Horton, Erika Dalrymple Jarrett, Alicia C.B. Widrig, Carrie Bidigare Heisele, and Alexandria Rosa. Ragan Rosa served as best man. A reception followed at the Wheeling Country Club.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Shadyside High School and 2003 graduate of Washington and Jefferson College with a B.A. in English and Political Science. She is a 2006 cum laude graduate of the Thomas M. Cooley law school. She is employed as an attorney for the federal government.
Her husband is a graduate of Rio Grande City High School and is currently a full time student finishing his degree in criminal justice.
After a honeymoon, the couple will reside in Baltimore, Maryland.
