HARRISVILLE For area horse lovers, tack and supplies are now a quick jaunt away at Show and Tell Equestrian Supply.
Becky Mills of Dillonvale, owner, said she was inspired to open the store after her children became involved in 4-H six years ago. Their field was horse showing and Mills saw both a need and an opportunity in the lack of convenient supply stores in this area.
"It was hard to find show clothes for them without driving an hour to an hour and a half in either direction," she said.

She added that the horse raising and horse showing community has been welcoming and supportive.
"Horses are wonderful. There is nothing like horse people," Mills said.
Show and Tell opened in June. They offer tack, show clothes and consignments. Mills added that the store prides itself on convenience, quality and low prices.
"We try to keep our prices low," she said.
Mills added that this was her first such venture as a business owner.
"This is my first adventure in running a business," she said, noting that after setting up shop she has been reaching out to surrounding 4-H clubs. "We are very 4-H friendly."
Her three children are members of Lassos and Lace 4-H Club and often join her in managing the store. They and Mills are the sole employees.
Mills noted the enthusiasm of the community and the growing popularity of the store.
"It was really busy during the fair and it stayed steady," she said. "We're hoping for a good turnout for Christmas."
She added that items such as fly spray and Cowboy Magic products are currently in demand.
The store is located at 49305 U.S. 250. Hours are Tuesday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday 4 to 8 p.m. For more information, contact (740) 546-2000.
