Parkvale Bank helps out Salvation Army

LENDING A hand, representatives of area branches of Parkvale Bank presented $5,200 raised for the Jefferson, Brooke, Hancock and Belmont county units of the Salvation Army. The banks sold teddy bears and candy bars and held other fundraisers to support efforts by the Salvation Army to help those in need at Christmas and throughout the year. Taking part in the presentation were, from left: Sylvia Ensell, manager of Parkvale’s Hollywood Plaza branch in Steubenville; Major Earline May of the Steubenville Salvation Army; Jennifer Gerevics, manager of the Bridgeport and Shadyside branches; Glenda Guthrie, office manager for the Belmont County Salvation Army; Barb Yaussy, manager of the Wellsburg branch; Gary Haught, manager of the Follansbee branch; and Melony McBride, manager of the Wintersville branch.
