Hull, president and chief executive officer.
"We look to be a commercial bank in markets where people work in and live," Hull said, adding that their staff of experienced employees has grown. They have hired five additional employees with two more hirings expected in the future, bringing their site's number to 14 in all.
"We think this is a really great market for us," Hull said, adding that their site hearkened back to the days of relationship banking where a site can provide a one-stop location for operations such as providing business and consumer loans.
"We look at that as an opportunity to be a bank for business owners," he said.
Penz noted that the bank currently has $100 million in assets under management and their clients have been expressing an interest in expanded services.
"It's all about the people," she said.
Hull added that they were motivated by the local interest and the area's potential economic upswing.
He said customer response has been enthusiastic and some are taking advantage of opportunities in mortgage and re-financing with historically low rates.
Penz added that Premiere Bank will continue its policy of partnering with the community in events and benefits. Some of their recent activities including sponsoring a Habitat for Humanity project in Bellaire, providing Christmas gifts for the Tri County Help Center, the Sean P. Elerick Memorial Fund, and clothing donations to the Wheeling YWCA and Wheeling Van Dalia Group.
The expansion was opened last Monday. A small opening ceremony will be held Feb. 17 with a grand opening to take place this May.
The business is located at 107 Plaza Drive, Suite A, St. Clairsville. For more information, call (740) 966-4608.
