Free Easter concert set for Palm Sunday

WINTERSVILLE-On April 1, Palm Sunday, at 6:30 p.m. the Brentwood United Methodist Church in Wintersville will celebrate the Easter season with a special concert. The event will feature some of the area's most popular artists along with some that have traveled the world internationally with their music.

The Chrisagis Brothers will perform many of their hit songs, including "Ransom." They are working on a new worship CD with producer Jeff Garrison, who will also perform that evening. Garrison has played with big names like Bruce Springsteen and Joe Greshecky.

Also appearing at the Palm Sunday concert is world-renowned pianist Randy Brown, who has traveled internationally and was named the greatest musician in Branson, Mo. A piano player for the Grand Ol' Opry, he has worked with Dotty Rambo, The Osmonds, the Mandrell Sisters, and many other Christian and country artists. Brown is now working with the Chrisagis Brothers and will be traveling with them for the next few months in concert.

Also performing are vocalists Jennifer Faulkner Galownie and Leslie Thermes. Both women have amazing vocal ranges and will leave the audience wanting more. Randy Brown's wife, Melonie, and their children will also appear at the event.

This Easter concert is free; everyone is invited come and enjoy the celebration of the life, death and resurrection of Christ.
