RIGGS, James E., 73, of Wheeling, went to be with his Lord and Savior April 28, 2012.
He was born April 15, 1939 in Washington, Pa, son of Harry and Florence Riggs.
Jim was an Army Veteran and was a Glazier for 45 years.
He and his family attended East Richland Friends Church.
James is preceded in death by a daughter, Amy.
Surviving are his wife, Ginnie; a son, David of Memphis, TN; a daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Lemley and her husband, Stephen "Steve" Lemley of Wheeling; a mother-in-law, L. Elizabeth Iddings of Wheeling; a brother, Mel Riggs and his wife, Barbara of Woodstock, GA; and a sister, Lola Woods and her husband Don of Barboursville, VA.
Friends will be received Tuesday May 1, 2012 from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. at the Kepner Funeral Home, 900 National Rd., Wheeling, (304-232-2732).
A service will be held Wednesday May 2, 2012 at 11 a.m. at East Richland Friends Church, 67885 Friends Church Road, St. Clairsville with Pastor Jerry Wenger and Wayne Ickes officiating.
