OSTOJICH, John, 83, of Adena, Ohio, died Thursday, May 10 at his home.
He was born May 12, 1928 in Fairpoint, Ohio, the son of Peter Ostojich and Sophie Rocker Ostojich. He was a Methodist by faith and a retired machinist from Consol Coal.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Katherine Ostojich (2004), an infant daughter; Diane M. Ostojich; a brother George Ostojich.
Surviving are seven sons, Wayne (Tracy) of Uniontown, Ohio, James (Vietta) of Cadiz, Ohio, Michael of Adena, Ohio, Joseph of Adena, Ohio, Gerald (Joan) of Winter Garden, Florida, John (Carolyn) of Cape Coral, Florida, and Peter of Adena Ohio; three sisters, Katherine Jordan of St. Clairsville, Ohio, Lucille Papish of Parkersburg, WV and Joann Ostojich of Adena, Ohio; four grandchildren and five great - grandchildren.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to John and celebrate his life on Sunday, May 13, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Adena, Ohio.
Funeral will be held at the Borkoski Funeral Home in Adena on Monday, May 14 at 11 a.m. with Rev. R. Drew McPeek officiating. Burial in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
