THE SIXTH Annual All-American Days Festival will be held Thursday, May 31, Friday, June 1, and Saturday, June 2 in Historic Bellaire Park. All three days will be crafters, food vendors, carnival rides, Bingo by the Bellaire Touchdown Club, the Boy Scout Troop 111 sale to benefit Summer camp and Exhibit Ohio and the Civil War, 150 years later commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, which will be held in the Bellaire High School Cafeteria from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m., sponsored by EMT services.
Opening ceremonies will begin at 5 p.m., on Thursday, May 31, by the American Legion Post 52 of Bellaire, followed by Rachel Beck, 5:30-6:30 p.m., sponsored by Primerica; Moose Dodrill from 6:30-7:30; and, Streamline from 8 until 11 p.m.
Friday, June 1, lineup will be Buffington Brothers, 5 to 8 p.m.; Just For Fun Line Dancers, from 8 to 9:30 p.m.; and the Vogues 9:30 to 11 p.m., sponsored by The Belmont County Tourism Council.
On Saturday, June 2, to wrap up the All-American Days Festival, a Parade will begin at 11 a.m.; Blessings and Prayers for Bellaire from noon until 1 p.m., by Bellaire Area Churches; The New Silver Eagle Band from 1 to 3 p.m. sponsored by Belmont Savings Bank; Crafts 2000 Kids Craft Clinic from 1 to 5 p.m.; Lowes Build and Grow Clinic, 1 to 2 p.m.; Kids Fishing Derby, 2 to 3 p.m.; All-American Days Car Show, 1 to 5 p.m., ran by Edens Auto Ranch (all participants are invited to join in the parade at 11 a.m.; registration begins at noon, $5 to register, dash plaques for the first 50, trophies, 50/50 Music by DJ Jeff Kreiter); Tae Kwon Do by Seszko International Tae Kwon Do; Wild Heart from 3:30-5:30 p.m., sponsored by Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home; Kiddie Olympics 5:30-6:30 p.m. sponsored by the Bellaire Park District; Zumba 7-7:30 p.m.; Kody Storm 7:30-10:30 p.m.; and ends with Fireworks at 10:30 p.m., sponsored by The Bellaire Area Chamber of Commerce.
