Sentences handed out in common pleas court

ST. CLAIRSVILLE Numerous pleas were heard and sentences handed down Friday at Belmont County Common Pleas Court. Judge John M. Solovan II presided.

Timothy Allen Jendrusik, 41, 3345 Monroe St., Bellaire, pleaded guilty to gross sexual imposition on another, younger than 13, a felony of the third degree occurring March 3.

A pre-sentence investigation and victim impact statement were ordered. Sentencing was set for July 6. He faces a maximum sentence of five years. He will be labeled a Tier Three sex offender.

Samantha Jo Monroe, 22, 53901 WeeGee Road, Shadyside, was terminated from drug court for violations including consuming alcohol, possession of drugs, failing to control a motor vehicle and causing and accident in Shadyside, and breaking and entering into a Shadyside location.

Sentencing was set for July 6. A pre-sentencing investigation was ordered.

She had pleaded guilty to burglary, a felony of the second degree occurring 2010.

Dustin David Howington, 22, 6992 Candlish Drive, Reynoldsburg, was sentenced to three years of community controls and six months EOCC for possession of drugs, a felony of the fifth degree occurring Aug. 24, 2011.

William Roy Linde, 49, 109 Fayette St., Martins Ferry, was sentenced to five years of community control sanctions for possession of drugs, a felony of the fifth degree occurring Dec. 29, 2011. He will spend six months in EOCC. Solovan noted Linde's history, which includes OVI, driving under suspension, reckless operation, trespassing, grand larceny, and burglary. He was stopped by police for driving under suspension and without plates and officers found a morphine pill in his pocket.

Brian Lee White, 28, 1410 Center St., Moundsville, was sentenced on two counts of burglary, felonies of the second degree occurring Nov. 15, 2011. He was given five years for each count, to be served concurrently for a total of five years. Solovan noted that White also tested positive for cocaine while on bond and was arrested for two counts of theft. He also noted a pattern of reckless behavior and drug and alcohol activity. White apologized for his actions.

Daniel Lee Forinash, 44, pleaded guilty to failing to give notice of a change of address as a sex offender, a felony of the third degree occurring Feb. 21. Sentencing was set for July 20. A pre-sentencing evaluation, EOCC evaluation, and Southeast Ohio evaluation were ordered.

Daniel Patrick Eden, 25, 953 Clark Ridge Road, Sistersville, pleaded guilty to one count attempted robbery, a felony of the third degree occurring Jan. 9. Sentencing was set for Aug. 3. A pre-sentencing evaluation and victim impact statement were ordered.

Benjamin William Primis II, 24, 4553 Harrison Street, Bellaire, pleaded guilty to one count of receiving stolen property, two counts possession of drugs and one count conveyance of drugs into a detention center, felonies of the second, third and fifth degree occurring Oct. 16, 2011 and Jan. 6. Sentence was set for July 6. A pre-sentence investigation and victim impact statement were ordered. He faces a maximum sentence of 13 years.
