TEMPKA, Joseph, 73, of Shadyside, OH, died Monday June 4, 2012.
He was a member of the Wegee United Methodist Church, Shadyside, OH and retired from Blawnox as a tool and dye maker, and a U.S. Army Veteran.
He was born April 29, 1939 in St. Clairsville, OH, the son of the late Victor and Jean (Kowell) Tempka.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene (Koci) Tempka.
He is survived by his two children, Susan (Carl) Hopple of New Albany, OH, and Mary (Chad) Trego of Plain City, OH; a sister, Barbara Todd of Orem Utah; and four grandchildren, Landon and Weston Hopple, Ellie and Abby Trego.
Family and friends will be received Thursday June 7, 2012 at the Bauknecht- Altmeyer Funeral Home and Crematory 3900 Central Ave. Shadyside, OH 43947 from 1 until the time of service at 3 p.m. with Pastor Larry Helms officiating.
Interment in Old Greenwood Cemetery, Bellaire, Ohio.
