She was born May 2, 1916 in Clarington, OH, a daughter of the late Fred V. and Mabel Clegg Marshall.
She attended Immanuel United Church of Christ, Clarington and Golden Links of church. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 533, Clarington and Farm Bureau.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Rufener; two brothers, Earl J. Marshall and Arthur R. Marshall; daughter-in-law, Edna H. Rufener
Survivors include two sons, Roger K. Rufener of Clarington and Frederick R. Rufener of Enon, OH; four grandchildren, Craig A. Rufener of Fairborn, OH, Rebecca E. (Mathew) Weida of Canal Fulton, OH, Stevie (Jason Wise) Rufener of Cincinnati, OH and Amin Rufener of Altamonte Springs, FL; four great grandchildren, Story Rufener, Sagan Rufener, Reagan Rufener and Kenneth Weida.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at the Grisell Funeral Home, 125 Clarinda Dr., Clarington, OH, with Pastor Steve Hale officiating.
Interment in Powhatan Cemetery.
