Together Again
SELAK, Ann C., 90, of St. Clairsville, formerly of Bridgeport, died Monday, July 2, 2012 at Forest Hills Retirement Center, St. Clairsville.
She was born September 9, 1921, in Bridgeport, a daughter of the late Antone and Agnes (Puntar) Strauss.
She was a Volunteer for Wheeling Hospital for 26 years, a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville, and the Catholic Daughters of St. Anthony's Catholic Church Bridgeport.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank R. Selak, in 2003, two brothers, Frank and Joseph Strauss, four sisters, Mary Strauss, Rose Strauss, Pauline Arajakis, and Betty Benedetto.
Ann is survived by her son, Bob Selak, and his wife, Donna, of Cincinnati, a granddaughter, Dawn Selak, four nephews, Jack (Nancy) Selak, Ken, Rick Strauss and Anthony Benedetto, brother-in-laws, Bud Benedetto, and Joe Selak, and a sister-in-law, Ann Selak.
Friends are invited to a celebration of Ann's life on Thursday, July 5, 2012, from 10 a.m. till time of service at 11 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, with Fr. Michael Gossett officiating. Interment in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove. Following the interment there will be a Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 226 W. Main St., St. Clairsville at 1:30 p.m.
