USAF?Prism Brass to perform in St. C

THE ST. CLAIRSVILLE Department of Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce that the United States Air Force Band of Flight Prism Brass Ensemble will be appearing at the City's Central Park Complex on Monday, Aug. 13, from 7 to 9 p.m. The concert will be held outdoors with free admission.

Prism Brass is a large brass section ensemble from the United States Air Force Band of Flight, stationed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. This band performs a diverse and exciting program consisting of light classics, marches, jazz and classic rock. Whether performing full-length concerts or supporting official military functions, these active duty Air Force musicians consistently demonstrate the United State Air Force Band of Flight's commitment to musical excellence.

The United States Air Force Band of Flight is one of 12 bands in the Air Force. The band's purpose is to support the global Air Force mission in war and peace by fostering our national heritage and by providing professional musical products and services for official military, recruiting, and community related events.

The concert will be held at 102 Fair Avenue (off South Sugar Street). Everyone is asked to please bring their own lawn chairs or blankets to sit on during the concert.
