TED SLIVINSKI, top left, and some of his friends from Dillonvale, spent a day in New Martinsville, in 1992 to watch the world famous King and His Court softball team. Slivinski was a famous pitcher for the Boydsville 40 Club Team years ago and was one of the first pitchers in North America to ever beat the King in a softball game. He recently celebrated his 90th birthday. Pictured in the front is Barbara Beaver, of New Martinsville. Others in the photo are Father Carl Borosh, former pastor of St. Adalbert Church, Dillonvale, second from the left, unidentified and at the far right is Chuck Zanders.
