ACADEMY Hall was used at West Liberty State College (now West Liberty University) until 1950 when it was replaced by West Liberty Elementary School. Built in 1857 at a cost of $30,000, it contained an auditorium, lecture rooms, laboratories, a library and several dormitory rooms.
