As a previous student of the Fairpoint School, I was given the opportunity of attending the school reunion which was held on Sunday, Sept. 2, at the Fairpoint Polish Club Pavilion. What a success!
The planning committee did a wonderful job organizing the event. They worked hard and spent many hours preparing for what turned out to be a good time had by all!
The day started with my nephew Donnie, the oldest son of my brother, the late Donald W. Dlesk Sr., giving the blessing, of which was followed by a very good meal and lots of socializing. It was so nice to see the teachers, students and staff.
The Fairpoint School was open from 1921-1982 and this was the first school reunion held and I definitely look forward to the reunions that will be held in the future.
