CADIZ -Despite leading through most of the second set and battling to a late tie, head coach Amy Ferri-McAfee's Huskies would be swept by visiting St. Clairsville in three straight sets 25-18, 27-25 and 25-19.

"We changed a few things in practice yesterday on short notice," said St. Clairsville head coach Christa Truchan. "We were getting players some time in their new positions and working a few things out and for the most part I think we are happy with the results.

"This was a needed win for us tonight," added Truchan, as her Red Devils are sitting at 6-8 on the season.

Despite the changes Ashleigh Moulder remained consistent at the net notching nine kills and three blocks for St. Clairsville. Brigee Mick and Alexis St. Clair both had eight kills. Mick added 10 digs, 10 points and one assist, while St. Clair added nine digs, 10 points and two assists. Allie Harrison dug up 23 with four kills and four digs. Gabbie Espen bumped up 12 assists, Rebekah Sadlowski had seven kills and five digs. Summer Gallentine added nine digs with six points and two aces, while Kathryn Whinnery had four kills with two blocks.

Harrison Central was led in the back court by Katie Stackhouse with 13 digs and four assists. Janese Eckley added 12 digs. Jesse Ledger had five blocks and 11 digs. Kaylee Toland added seven digs, with two blocks and two kills. Tirzah Curry dug up nine.

The Red Devils will host Bridgeport tonight, while the Huskies (3-11) will host a volley for the cure event Thursday.
