Harrison school gets $4,900 grant for project

CADIZ Harrison North Elementary School will receive a grant of $4,900 for supplies to equip an outdoor environmental learning lab with stations on composting and vermin-composting, butterfly gardening, weather, water quality and pond management, organic gardening and geological formations. The budget includes funds to train and certify added teachers at the school in the national curricula Project Water Education for Teachers and Project WILD, and the Ohio curriculum Windows on Waste, to present learning activities to 325 students.
