Three arraigned in child porn ring

CADIZ - More information has been released regarding an alleged child pornography ring operating out of the village. Three people have been arraigned.

Christina Reed, 33, 583 East Market St., Cadiz, has been charged with three counts of pandering obscenities involved a minor and two counts illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material or performances, all felonies of the second degree.

Chad Tyler, 29, 413 St. Clair Avenue, was charged with two counts of pandering obscenities involving a minor, felonies of the fourth degree, complicity in illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material or performances, a felony of the second degree, and complicity in pandering obscenities involving a minor, a felony of the second degree.

Jessica Manbeck, 36, 351 St. Clair Avenue, Cadiz, was charged with two counts of pandering obscenities involving a minor. a felony of the second degree, and illegal use of a minor in a nudity oriented material or performance, a felony of the second degree.

Initial reports alleged that Reed photographed the victims and gave them to Tyler.

Harrison County Prosecutor Shawn Hervey said his office was currently satisfied with the charges. They are analyzing evidence and collecting further interviews with potential victims. The case will remain under investigation and anyone with information is encourage to come forward.

"Our most important job in society is to protect children," said Hervey. "Our most important job in society is to protect children. When children are involved it's very serious and we plan to prosecute it fully."
