ST. CLAIRSVILLE - It's official. Thomas Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram will be moved into its new 47,000 square foot home on November 26, 2012. The move comes during the mainstay's 95th Anniversary Year. With the huge expansion comes a massive indoor showroom, a brand new state-of-the-art service area with more bays than any other local dealership, an enhanced customer experience and a significantly increased staff.
Fourth generation owner/operators Brian and Robert Thomas have spear-headed the expansion and move, under the advisement of their father Harland Thomas.
The state-of-the art facility, located in the former Roomful Express building near the Ohio Valley Mall, was remodeled with the customer in mind. The area alone comes complete with wifi, flat screen televisions, and even a laptop desk for customers while they wait.
THIS?WILL be the new home of Thomas Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram starting Monday, Nov. 26.
The Thomas brothers say they are certainly thrilled about the move but would be remiss not to acknowledge their father, Harland, for making it all possible.
"We've learned from the best and thank him, our grandfather and great-grandfather before him for paving the way for this family business and making it the success it is today," says Robert Thomas.
"Yes, had it not been for the hard work before us, this may never have been possible," adds Brian Thomas.
With the significant growth, the Thomas family is pleased to welcome an increased, experienced sales staff. Tom Butler and Eddy Brown are the newest members of the Thomas Sales Staff. Both men come to Thomas with many years of sales experience, most recently in sales of the Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram brands.
Butler was born in Wheeling and graduated from Barnesville High School and has lived in Barnesville his entire life. Butler has been married for thirty years and has two children and two grandchildren.
"I would like to invite all past and future customers to Thomas Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram to stop in and say hello and to allow me to give you any assistance in your future automotive needs," says Butler.
Brown, a Florida native, comes to Thomas CDJR with many years of automotive sales experience. He says he is proud to call the Ohio Valley home and enjoys volunteering in the area. "The Thomas family runs a dealership that is second to none and I invite anyone in the market for new car or truck to stop in to see what this growing dealership has to offer," says Brown.
Also, a new addition to the Thomas CDJR family, is Jeff Hilt of Richmond, Ohio. Jeff is Thomas's new Special Finance Manager. He assists customers with less-than-perfect credit. He brings to Thomas over 20 years experience in the auto industry and is eager to help put you behind the wheel of a new Thomas vehicle.
Along with the growing staff, you can always count on Thomas to offer you the greatest service staff in the business, under the direction of Chuck Hawkins, and a friendly, knowledgeable sales staff that includes Tracy McBride, Mike Cox, Tim Taylor and Tina Brown, along with the aforementioned Brown and Butler.
