Every Soldier, Marine. Sailor, Airman, Coast Guardsman are instructed to take and obey orders from their superiors, and especially their Commander-in-Chief.
Personally, I received an order from President Eisenhower and spent 2 years in the Army. One year later I received an order from President Kennedy and spent another year in the Army, because it was my duty. However, I would find it very difficult today if I received an order from our sitting President after his actions, failed policies, bowing to world leaders who hate the USA ,apologizing for our position in the World and interpreting the Constitution to suit himself and his cronies.
God help us through the next 4 years.
Another Veterans Day has come and gone. Did you thank a veteran?
While we are thanking our troops returning ( finally), lets not forget the rest of the vets who served long ago. WW 2 and Korean and Vietnam veterans are passing away at a rate of between 1200-2000 per day in our Country. Have you talked to a veteran about his time served? It has been said that they wish not to talk about that time. To get them started ask them "What was the worst meal you ever had"?,
"What was the best meal you ever had"?, "What is it like to live with 45 other guys in a barracks"?
Ask the simple questions, they will open up and then you probably can't get them to stop. Do it today, not tomorrow, because tomorrow may be too late.
