CROOK, Ronald Leroy, 80, of Lansing, OH, passed Monday at East Ohio Regional Hospital.
He was born in Bellaire, OH on January 23, 1932, son of the late Bryson and Freda Smith Crook.
Ronald was a retired employee of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp., a U.S.
Army Veteran of the Korean War, and a member of the Lansing United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Crook.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Carol Drewett Crook; sons; Ronald Crook Jr., David Crook, both of Wheeling, W.Va., Frank (Nicole) of Adena, OH, Norman (Kendra) of Jewett, Ohio, Eric (Erin) of Bridgeport, a daughter Sharon (Tom) Phillips of Glenford, OH, a sister Beverly Cash of Bridgeport,brothers: Lawrence (Eleanor) Crook of Flushing, Ohio, Calvin Crook of Florida, Garen (Andrea) Crook of Wheeling, WV.; eight grandchildren and five great-grand children.
Friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, OH, where services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Julianne Gebbie, officiating.
Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
