Erin B. Maroney Olexo and Scott A. Neitzelt were united in marriage on Nov. 10 by the Rev. Dr. Bradley Call at Thoburn United Methodist Church, St. Clairsville.
Parents are Julia Neitzelt and the late Ronald Neitzelt of Glencoe, and Judith Maroney and the late Michael Maroney of St. Clairsville.
Matrons of Honor were Joyce Nardo and Michele Schramm. Best Men were Ron Hess and Chad Smith. Other attendants included Marissa Eikleberry, Lindy Maroney, Maggie Stillion, Martha Bulian, Amber Ashby, Mary Keener Sellers, Jennifer Houston, Julie Larish, Julianna Larish, Matt Maroney, Mike Moorehead, Keith Eikleberry, Brian Bell, Rich Stachyra, Bo Olexo, Braden Olexo, Logan Neitzelt, Ralph Homan and Josh Friend. Flower girls were Riley and Reese Maroney, Hannah and Sarah Eikleberry and Abbi Stillion.

A reception in the couple's honor was held at Belmont Hills Country Club.
The bride graduated from Ohio University with bachelors and masters degrees in education administration. She attained doctoral candidacy by completing all doctoral coursework in education leadership. She also finished additional post-graduate licensure programs as a school superintendent, school principal, school administrative specialist in curriculum, instruction and professional development, multiple subject teacher, and gifted education intervention specialist. She served many years as a local school administrator. She is a substitute school teacher, realtor and piano teacher.
The groom served in the United States Army in the Military Police and attended the University of Akron. He has been employed for many years as a company foreman with Murray Energy at The Ohio Valley Coal Company No. 6 Mine.
Both were high school classmates graduating from St. Clairsville High School in 1987. Together they also own a local tavern, Scooter's Place.
Following a honeymoon at Sanibel Island, Fla., they reside in St. Clairsville.
