NAGY, James "Muzzy," Sr., 83, formerly of Adena, OH., died Tuesday, December 18, 2012 in Gables Health Care, Hopedale, OH.
He was born March 7, 1929, in Duncanwood, OH, son of the late Joseph and Anna Kita Nagy.
He was a retired serviceman for the former Borkoski Service Center of Adena; an Army Veteram during the Korean Conflict; a member of Adena American Legion; Pine Valley Sportsman's Club; and he enjoyed Fridays euchre game and fishing and was a Christian by faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Joe, Andy, Mike, John and Steve and two sisters, Anna and Mary.
Surviving are his loving wife of 56 years, Ruth Ann Ray Nagy; a son, James (Bobbi) Nagy Jr. of Dayton, OH; three daughters, Mary Ann (Alan) Pirnat of Mentor, OH, Rose (Bob) DeLong of Adena, OH and Barbara (Dennis) Lima of Cincinnati, OH; a sister, Irene Nagy of St. Clairsville, OH; many grandchildren and many great- grandchildren.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Muzzy and celebrate his life on Friday from 4-9 p.m at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Adena.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. at the funeral home on Saturday, with Pastor Jon Little officiating.
Full Military Honors will be conducted by the Adena American Legion at Olive Branch Cemetery, Harrisville, OH
