HARRIS, Dale F., 86, of Shadyside, OH, died Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at the Shadyside Care Center.
He was born March 5, 1926, at Piedmont, OH, a son of the late Forest Dale and Olive Marie Ford Harris.
Dale was a retired Roof Bolter at Consol Energy's Shoemaker Mine in Benwood, WV, a member of the UMWA and worked as a volunteer for the Belmont County Senior Services as a driver.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Nowak.
Surviving are his loving wife of 66 years, Barbara "Bobbi" Glover Harris of Shadyside; three sons, Dr. Randall (Patricia) Harris of Lyme, CT, Greg (Janet) Harris of Bellaire, OH, and Jody (Diana) Harris of Port Orange, FL; three grand children; one great-grand son; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. Services will be at the convenience of the family in Moorefield Cemetery, Piedmont, OH.
