LUYSTER, Martha Lee, 81, of Barnesville, OH, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at her home.
She was born April 29, 1931 in Woodsfield, OH, daughter of the late Fred Cramlet and Bessie E. Logan Cramlet.
She had been Vice President of Homers Welding and Machine which later became K&J Machine. Martha was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who is best described as a 5'1" spunky, feisty firecracker. She loved flowers and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Homer Daniel Luyster; three brothers; and two sisters.
Martha is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Homer W. Luyster of Barnesville, OH; her daughters, Barbara Mobley, Connie (Mike) Carpenter, Sharon (Randall) Lucas all of Barnesville, OH, and Vicky (Roy) Oliver of White City,KS; sons, Michael (Brenda) Luyster of Miltonsburg, OH and Kevin (Jodi) Luyster of Barnesville, OH; 18 grand children; 22 great- grand children; and sisters, Margaret (Richard) Hoffman of Deridder Louisiana and Barbara Elliott of Barnesville, OH.
Family and friends are welcome to visit, Friday from 4-7, at Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 702 East Main Street, Barnesville, OH, where the service will follow at 7 p.m. Reverend Charles Clark will be officiating. Interment will be private and at the convenience of Martha's family.
