ROBERT AND Vickie Whinnery of Adena announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Katherine to Zachary Michael Brown, son of G. Michael and Deborah Brown of St. Clairsville.
The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of St. Clairsville High School, a graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor of science degree in human nutrition in 2009 and will graduate in May of this year with a doctorate of pharmacy degree. She will be employed at Walgreens in Columbus.
Her fiance is a 2003 graduate of St. Clairsville High School, a graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor of science degree in materials and biomedical engineering in 2008. He is employed by T.S. Tech in Columbus as a materials engineer.
